Have you ever asked yourself that question?
Three days ago, Ngoato Thamae wrote to us as follows:
“I’ve spoken to all and sundry, even if I haven’t mentioned them by name. But a name that will forever stand out for me will be Siyabulela Mooi.”
Indeed, Siyabulela Mooi’s death shook all of us. His death made us reflect on ourselves and ask the question, why are we here? What is our purpose on this earth?
One of the ways we honoured Siyabulela Mooi was to change the Wowos Software Development Cohort to Wowos Siya Club (WCS), as Siya found his purpose in software development. He once proposed and developed a Wowos Club Platform 1.0. Sadly, we did not support it back then. It is something that this club will need to do in his honour. I am happy to share the specification document he wrote for us. Remind me, next time, to share with you how I met him. You will never believe it. We were privileged to have him. May his spirit continue to live within us.
