If you wait for perfect conditions, you will never get anything done. Be sure to stay busy and plant a variety of crops, for you never know which will grow – perhaps they all will. - Ecclesiastes 9:10

Out of the 4 elements of NATURE

Out of the 4 elements of  NATURE, 3 can heal and feed communities and nations: (1) Water, (2) Earth, and (3) Air. With a good 'hand', sharing and collaboration, the sky is the limit. These elements have no human condition, except good intent. Let us iLima in our spaces and allow NATURE to take over, given the above. It is satisfying to wake up every morning and see NATURE growing food within reach of my hands. Keep iLima and grow those plants and herbs. Happy to share the pictures I took within 2 steps of my door this morning. Plenty more. Growth of anything helpful to human nature is within us! - Siyanda Simelane

Hands That Return to the Soil

I often self-reflect on what I do with my hands that connects me to Mother Earth. Do I grow plants that I eat? Do I grow plants that purify the air in the space? Do I grow plants that enable my appreciation of nature and her spiritual and medicinal wonders? The pomegranate plant is now growing from the seeds of just one fruit I bought months back. It is the wait and patience that is exciting. What do we do with our hands that connect us to the soil and Mother Earth? Have a blessed ILima weekend! Siyanda Simelane
